Looking For New Home, Macy
I'm looking for a pet-free, stable and gentle new home for Macy. Unfortunately, due to her background as a rescue, she's unable to live in a home with other pets. She's very affectionate, an excellent hiking partner, and well-behaved around all humans.

Yes
What commands does your dog know?:
Sit, shake, and lay down
Has your dog ever exhibited any challenging behaviors, such as biting a person or another pet? If so, could you please share some details about the situation?:
Yes, unfortunately she can easily become overwhelmed at home if there is another pet there. She's bitten a few dogs, thus why I need to rehome her. She has never shown aggression towards another person, or any dog that she did not previously know while at a dog park. The issue seems to relate to feeling safe as the only pet in a home, and ensuring she is not overwhelmed.
How does your dog react to being left alone for short periods?:
She's very well-behaved at home.
Are there any specific triggers that cause your dog anxiety or stress?:
Hearing other dogs bark or having other pets near her when she's eating.
Is there a particular routine that works best for your dog in terms of feeding, walking, and sleep?:
She likes to sleep in, go outside for a bit, then get her daily dental bone (her favorite treat) and eat breakfast. A walk in the afternoon before being fed dinner. She's 6 now, so she enjoys napping more during the day.

Friendly: Generally gets along well with other dogs.
How is your dog with cats?:
Aggressive: Does not get along with cats and may show aggressive behavior.
What's the most endearing thing about your dog?:
I've never had a dog that loves to cuddle so much. Just offer her some belly rubs and she will cuddle you like a little spoon in bed.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
A pet-free stable home with a fenced yard so she has a safe boundary to sniff within. A family willing to take her on regular walks and occasional hikes.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
She has a big personality and does like to "talk", especially if she wants attention/to play. She loves to give kisses pretty much all the time to anyone who wants them.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Personal Problems
Rehoming reason details (if necessary):
