Magic Needs a New Home
Magic is my one-year old (1.4yrs), spayed, mixed breed, rambunctious pooch. She is full of energy, and is always up to mischief - The cute kind. There’s never a dull moment with her. She is low maintenance, and keeps herself entertained when she’s in the great outdoors.
Magic and I moved from Ethiopia about a week ago - I know, it’s quite the transition for the both of us. That said, since she’s still settling in, I feel like now is the best time to find her a new, permanent home, one where she never needs to relocate/transition from again. Please email me, or call me (919 255 5822) if you are interested in meeting her, or know of someone who might.

How does your dog react to being left alone for short periods?:

What's the most endearing thing about your dog?:
When you pet her, she will pet you back - She puts her paw on you while you pet her.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
She does really well with a male presence - It's not necessary, but I'd recommend it. If the family/home has a yard for her to run around in, that would be ideal. She can entertain herself if she has enough grass.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?:
Please be patient with her. She is quite attached to me. This means that when I re-home her, she is going to feel my loss and absence. She is going to need some time to warm up to you. Please don't give up on her.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?:
Schedule, No Time
Rehoming reason details (if necessary):
My work entails a lot of travel. This means I have to leave Magic for significant amounts of time. This is very hard on her, and deserves better. Leaving her with a dog sitter is not the solution. In September alone I will be traveling every weekend. In October I am gone for two weeks. December I will most likely go home to India for at least three weeks. That's too much transition for her. It's not fair. She needs stability.
