Young lab looking for farm family
Cash is an 8 month old lab Brittany spaniel mix. He was part of an accidental litter. We decided to take him in as we had always wanted a dog of our own. We have tried our very best to take care of him and train him. Ultimately he is not the right dog for us or our situation. We cannot provide him with the life he deserves. Cash is not a beginner friendly dog. He needs an experienced owner. Cash needs to be on a farm or with a family that can provide him with lots of space. Cash is not an apartment dog. He is incredible energetic and would benefit from having a job. He is always eager to please. He is an adventurous dog. He loves car rides and going to new places. He would make a great hiking companion. He needs lots of intense exercise everyday, walks are not enough. Cash knows basic commands, whether or not he will listen is a different story. He has been trained in German, but he is incredibly smart and will pick up English commands in no time. He is fully crate trained and potty trained, he does well being left alone for a few hours while you’re at work. He loves attention but he does not know how to be calm. Cash would do best in a family that does not have small children. He does not understand his size and strength and becomes much to excited. He loves cats and likes to chase them, he wants to play but does not understand cats/cat behavior. It would be best if he went to a home with no cats or dog savy cats. Cash gets along well with other dogs but does not understand boundaries. Cash is not neutered. He will hump. He has not shown any signs of aggression. He will get overwhelmed at times and will nip. We have tried to get him to stop but the only way has been to leave and allow him to calm down on his own. Cash has the potential to be an amazing dog. He is loving. He aims to please. We simply cannot meet his needs and have made the decision it would be best to rehome him. We love him and we are heartbroken. We are willing to wait for the right home for him.
