Rowan

Rowan is an almost 6 year old Australian Shepherd, who is infatuated with Chuck-It balls and playing fetch. Excellent leash walker, understands commands: heel, place, wait, sit, down, off, out, go, no, leave it, and others. Rowan has developed anxiety and due to an impending move and his history of nipping and breaking skin, he cannot move with me. He is trainable and not without his good traits! He is intelligent and funny and in the right circumstances and with the right on-going work, could be an even more amazing dog. While he does not enjoy meeting and greeting dogs or people one on one, he is great out on walks. Give him a ‘heel’ command and a ‘leave it’ if he gets distracted and all is well. Rowan deserves a chance to thrive in ways that I cannot provide and the right person with knowledge and patience will make him as happy as he deserves to be.
