Scout

New Home for Sweet Senior Who Lost Owner

Scout was my mom's dog that I have been taking care of since she passed away a few years ago. She is such a sweetie and you would never guess her age by her spunky attitude! She is not used to having a fenced backyard so she loves to go on walks for her potty breaks. Or truly walks at anytime of the day! She loves to be outside. In true lab fashion though, she will try and eat anything that smells yummy to her so you just have to pay attention to her sniffs. Unfortunately, Scout does not get along with other dogs and that is why I am having to find her a new home. She has been attacked twice before and this has left her reactive to other dogs. She does very well on walks minding her own business and is not reactive until another dog approaches her. She also is scared and gets nervous around children. Scout is fully potty trained and up to date on all vaccines. She also recently just had her teeth cleaned. I work in healthcare and she does well with me being gone all day. However, her dream would be to have her people home all day with her. She is an older dog, so she is on medicine to help her bladder retention as well as a joint supplement. My mom loved and spoiled Scout so she is used to sleeping in the bed with her humans as well as sharing tastes of whatever is cooking for dinner. I am willing to do whatever it takes to help find her the best home to live out the rest of her years!! We wish it could be with us but she does not get along with my boyfriend's two dogs :( Please feel free to reach out with any questions if you think Scout would be a great fit for you!
