Fun-Loving Aussie
Duma is a very fun dog that loves to play and will be your best friend. She has a lot of energy! (Although I would say a normal amount of energy for an 8 month old Australian Shepherd). She gets along very well with other dogs and loves to explore, go for long walks, and give snuggles. She is micro-chipped, up-to-date on shots, and her spay is scheduled for October 20th. She should go to a home without young children as she is possessive of her food/treats. This resource-guarding issue is the reason we are needing to re-home her. Duma has not ever bitten anyone to the point of injury, but can be snippy if she thinks someone other than her main caretaker is trying to take her food away. As a result of this snippiness, we haven't been able to allow her free-roam access inside the house and that is just not the quality of life she deserves. We are confident that in the right home (without small children) she will thrive and bring loads of joy to your home.

Duma could really use a fenced yard, as that would greatly increase their quality of life, but the main reason we are needing to rehome her is because of the resource-guarding and the fact that we have a few small children who don't understand to stay away from her food and treats.
