Gracie

3 year old Texas Blue Lacy

Gracie is a charming 3-year-old Texas Blue Lacy, known for her sweet nature and adventurous spirit. As a natural protector, she serves as a reliable security system, while her knack for escaping makes her a bit of a challenge. I initially adopted her because my other dog, Jax (also being rehomed), needed a companion at home as he can sometimes be reactive due to being attacked in the past. She would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, offering her the opportunity to explore safely. Currently, I am unable to provide the level of care Gracie needs, due to my commitments at school and our recent relocation to Ohio. Ideally, she would be rehomed with her adopted brother, Jax, yet she is more than capable of thriving in any loving environment where her need for exercise, walks, and attention is met. After her energetic escapades, Gracie enjoys long, restful naps inside the house. Highly intelligent, she already understands commands like "In the house," "Go outside," "Walk," and "Food," though she would benefit from consistent and firm training to reach her full potential. Gracie deserves a fulfilling life and, as a herding breed, she might also be an excellent fit for a farm setting, making her a versatile and loyal companion.
