What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: needs to have access to a backyard or even a balcony for relieving purposes, should live in a non busy area (i dont think hes a city dog), multi person home
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: I didn't know how to answer the dog with other dogs because he's not aggressive, he just gets so excited to meet another dog that he starts barking and whining and he did do a defensive growl one time but no teeth
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Pet Behavior
Rehoming reason details (if necessary): - first time big dog owners and we are not equipped to handle his reactivity with dogs (shelter told us that he wasn't interested so i think the transition from being around a lot of dogs to not in the apartment has affected him), the building i live in is too busy so i dont think he can gradually acclimate the way he needs to, with our schedules we thought we could balance our work life and mentally stimulating him, but we realize we cannot
