Loving family female dog

She is a great family dog. She is wonderful with my 2 granddaughters, 4 months and 4 years old. She sleeps behind my head every night, and sometimes puts her head on my head. She lover her tummy to be rubbed. She also lets you know when she needs to go potty, she jumps on the door.

She will bark at them and nip or bite them. She needs to be introduced to new people before she is comfortable with them. Once she knows a person, she is absolutely fine.

She eats in the afternoon and the pees and poops again at night time. She will let you know when she has to go, she jumps on the door, or goes to the front of it.

They are careful with her around strangers, as she needs to be properly introduced to them, and smell them, before they open the door and come. Once she knows a person, she is absolutely fine.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: She is an easy pet to care for. But the challenge is with her being territorial. Other than that, she really is the perfect dog.

Rehoming reason details (if necessary): My husband and I are older now, and I have several medical problems and have had multiple operations. My son and family recently relocated here, and there is a lot of traffic in and out of my house. If someone lets her out by accident, I can no longer run.
