Male - Not Neutered - Great-Dane Pit Mix,
Ares is a 1 year old Male Great-Dane-Pit Mix. He is the sweetest pup you could ask for, but he plays too aggressively with my 6 year old daughter. He has not been neutered as of yet, per guidance of his vet. The vet felt that neutering a potentially large breed dog too early could stunt his growth even more. The vet recommended neutering at a year and a half, which would be exactly 4/10/2025. He would come with a 2-XL kennel, free. We rescued him at 7 weeks old. His first 7 weeks of life, the owner kept him and his 10 litter-mates locked in a kennel in a dark room. They never saw sun-light, and this caused pretty severe growth stunting. He is house trained, and has the best cuddles. I would like to rehome him to someone who doesn't have children younger than 10 because of how rough he can play. He has never shown an ounce of actual aggression, but he does play pretty rough. He does fine with other dogs and cats. He doesn't play rough with them - only with my daughter. He adores her. He loves to cuddle her and lick her, but when they start playing, that is when he gets too rough. He has never caused actual cuts on her arms, but he does pull her down and it makes her cry. He is used to me cutting his nails with a trimmer, and he is used to getting a treat after every paw lol. He has a love/hate relationship with baths. He loves to be sprayed with water but doesn't like sitting still. If you have any additional questions, please reach out. - Morgan.

Personal Problems
Rehoming reason details (if necessary):
He plays too rough with my 6 year old. I would like if he didn't go to a home with a child younger than 10 or so because of it. He is not aggressive at all, but he will play too rough with kids, because he doesn't know to play gently and move gently around children.
