Moose

Moose is a quirky puppy. I have had him since he was 8 weeks old and at about 1 years old got sick with aspiration pneumonia and has never been the same. He doesn't like to be pet and will snap/bite most people. At the same time he loves people and wants to be near the action, he just wants physical interactions on his terms. He finds comfort laying under your legs or in your lap while he is outside playing ball. He also loves to jump on the couch and 'suckle' on your leg or arm. Even with all that interaction he loves, if a hand goes to pet him, specifically for his face, he will react and bite. I love him so much, but his reactive behavior carries such heavy anxiety for me any time I am not with him directly. Moose turned 4 on the 24th of October and as I look toward my future with building a family and having a baby, there is just no way I can have Moose. This breaks my heart because I love him so much. If there is a living situation better for him than me, I owe him that. He LOVES playing ball and tug-a-war is him jam! He also loves bacon and sleeping and being near his family. He really is perfect, minus his reactive behavior.
