Sadie and Jasper

Need to Re-home 2 cats

Hello - I'll be moving out of state (Georgia to Ohio) in January and unfortunately need to re-home two cats I took in as strays about two years ago. I'm 99% sure they are mom and son, approximate ages 5 and 3.

They are both in good health and up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, chipped, etc. The boy (tuxedo) has one cloudy eye that's been like that since I took him in; the vet says it's ok but may need to be removed in the future at some point. Temperament-wise they are very calm and chill. They're not really lap cats but do like to cuddle on their terms, as cats tend to do. They were originally living across the street in a small horse pasture that has since been turned into something else, and they still like to spend the majority of the day outside exploring, especially when it's nice out. In the winter months they like to spend more time indoors and sleep inside at night, but I think they would make ideal barn cats for someone with a ranch/farm, or someone with a house and a "catio" or outdoor space for them. They would not make for good apartment cats. They've lived around horses outside before, but not sure how they are with kids or dogs.

I've accumulated a ton of cat toys, furniture/scratching posts, litter boxes, food, etc. that I'd be more than happy to give away with them. I hate the idea of surrendering them to a shelter to be locked in a tiny cage when they've been free to roam for years now, so if you or someone you know have a home/property that would be ideal for a couple indoor/outdoor cats, please reach out.
