Andy

yellow lab mix, 2 years old

Andy is this handsome, sweet, smart, loyal, happy yellow lab mix who needs a forever home with a fenced yard and lots of love and attention. He is a little less than two years old and 57 pounds.

I took him in about a month ago from a home where he was treated more like a stray than a pet, and since then he has learned to sit for treats and food and he is already house-trained! Super smart and beautiful dog. Right now he chews on things around the house, but with exercise and maturity that will resolve on its own.

He loves cuddling, he barks at strangers who approach the house but he doesn't bite or show any aggression. He loves other dogs of all sizes and cats and people.

He is in excellent health, has his first shots, and eats really well. He is great at the vet - let them bathe him and cut his nails without a hitch.

He is young enough that you will be able to fold him into your family's lifestyle as if he were a puppy but big enough to seem like a guard dog already.
