Timber

Timber is a 10 year old Chorkie (Chihuahua Yorkie mix). He has been in the family since he was 3 months old, Timber has been loved well but as Timber gets older he does not enjoy sharing the house with three young children. Timber has never loved kids, he is a nipper and will “attack” if a kid comes near him. The decision to rehome him has not been a light one but we feel that he would thrive in a new home where he can get all the love and attention. Timber is a very spoiled lap dog who LOVES older people, he will gladly curl up and lounge all day with you. He would do best in a home by himself, because as mentioned above, he does not share attention well (other animals or children). He is very low maintenance and he will let you know when he has to go out to potty. He will go on walks if you take him but does not require them. He will sometimes get a wild hair and run off but usually comes back, sometimes he may need to be hunted down. A fenced in yard would surely cure that. He does have a sensitive back side and does not really liked to be touched there (he may nip a little). He is a barker and will bark at passerby’s and cars. He will grow long, wiry hair that we shave down occasionally (he is not a fan). He is not a shedder! He did go through training as a puppy and knows a few commands. Timber has his quirks, but we all do. Let me know if you have any questions!
