Hello! My name is Desirae. I recently came across this organization asking my neighbors anywhere that can help with a lightly aggressive pit. I took in this puppy from my sister in law who had him in unfair circumstances recently, in attempt to keep him off the streets I tried to get him together with food, shelter, and baths and nail clippings and everything seemed ok where I had interest in him until he showed signs of aggression. He’s food aggressive and will nip and bark in times of frustration. I have two younger children under 5 and he does well with them outside of the food. I do know that he’s the sweetest thing outside of this behavior and with the right resources it can be corrected. But being a mother with two young ones I’m just not able too risk anything. He’s an amazing smart dog, just lacking resources to properly care.
