Toby

Toby is a super sweet dude.

He's deaf and started life as a wild thing in SoCAL before reaching me (also deaf) here in WA, came with an overdose of heeler spice but has mellowed out a lot in three years. Some of that may be due to a spinal injury limiting his range, he now wears booties on his back feet to help with discomfort, enough that he will walk and run most of the time. Without them he tripod pogoes around, but he still sprints faster than me! Otherwise a pretty snuggly guy for a heeler despite an independent and playfully toothy streak though he lacks a rev limiter at times and has a tendency to bite his brother when excited and this often doesn't end well.

Toby needs a more chill and flexible lifestyle than I have to offer due to his injured state and feral nature so a good place for him would be in the hands of someone adept at managing these circumstances in a gentle way.

Application process will favor locals so we can stay buddies!
