Does not get along with other pets and likes to chase/eat birds and squirrels if he can catch them. Would probably make a good hunting dog once his recall is more reliable.

He is fixed - I do not know where or when that was done, I think it was done as a puppy.
Comes with ecoller/kit and access to his trainer (for life) for any behavior/training needs.
Reason for rehoming - death of my mom who fostered him as a puppy from a rescue in Elgin (that is no longer in service and unable to take him back because I did reach out/contact them).

While he was doing his 2 week boarded training the trainer noticed that he guards his food. She was reaching into his crate while he was eating to get something and he thought she was taking his food and gave her a small bite. He did not break the skin and she was not injured.

He can be left in his crate for 8 hours at most and does okay (so for the work day)

Other dogs stress him out. He has a strong prey drive and will chase birds and squirrels.

He is getting used being in the car and going to stores to walk/train. He loves being outside.
