Fooz and Spoons

Meet Fooz and Spoons, an adorable bonded pair of black-and-white Maine Coon mixes from San Diego, CA, who are looking for their next loving home together. These two big boys—both weighing in at around 20 pounds—are indoor-only kitties with personalities as delightful as their names. They’ve been best friends for years and are ready to bring double the love, snuggles, and belly rubs to their new family!

Fooz is eight years old and still full of kitten-like energy. He’s incredibly affectionate, always seeking attention and pets—he’ll even stand on his hind legs to ask for more! Fooz is a snuggle pro, and while he does have a chronic sneeze due to allergies to the family dog, it’s easily managed with inexpensive over-the-counter allergy pills. Without a dog around, his sneezing may even improve. This fluffy charmer loves playing with scratch pads and strings and will happily roll onto his back for belly rubs.

Spoons, at six years old, is the quieter of the two. He may take a little longer to warm up, but once he does, he transforms into a belly-rub-loving cuddle bug. He’s known for going completely limp when you pick him up—like a ragdoll in your arms. Spoons has a calm, chill demeanor and prefers to hang back when newcomers arrive, letting Fooz be the social ambassador.

Both boys are great with young children, and while they may be a bit timid at first around other cats, they quickly adapt. They’ve been lovingly cared for, both neutered, with up-to-date vaccinations, microchips, and excellent litter box manners. Fooz, being the fluffier of the two, does appreciate a good grooming session every now and then to keep him looking his best.

Their perfect home would be one filled with love, patience, and lots of snuggle time. Whether you’re working from home or just want two furry companions to greet you after a long day, Fooz and Spoons are ready to fill your life with purrs and affection!

Ready to meet this dynamic duo and experience double the love? Reach out to give Fooz and Spoons their next home together!
