I rescued Ruby from the kill shelter in early September and have tried so hard to make her fit in with our household. They told me she was about 1 year old. She has all of her shots and is microchipped. She has not been spayed, but has a grant to have it done for free in Greeneville.
She is gentle and loving with my 10 year old and nice to anyone she meets. She is potty trained, loves to play, and has the potential to learn a lot with the right person.
She likes to chase our cats and I cannot break this out of her, so a home without cats is best. Maybe someone who is more experienced in introductions would make it work out. She would also benefit from a home with land to run off-leash.
While she is great with kids, I wouldnt recommend her as a pet specifically for a child as she is strong and doesn’t have the best walking manners.
