Buddy is a rescue that was found on an acquaintance's front porch. We were considering another dog as a companion to our 2 year old Miniature American Shepherd and a dog trainer we had worked with thought they might be a good match. We have had Buddy for 3 1/2 months and he has definitely come into his own. Unfortunately the relationship between the 2 dogs has not been what we had hoped and has become contentious, although he has played well with a neighbor's dog. He seems to have no problem with humans and we would keep him if we didn't already have one. He is about 2 yrs old, 35 lbs, very food driven, loves to be outside and needs room to explore. He now walks well on a leash and has been making progress in obedience class the last 5 weeks. We feel he would probably be best as an only dog. Bed, food, favorite toys and treats included along with vet records. Thank you for considering Buddy.
