Wesley

Meet Wesley (aka Bill aka Ah-Dooooo)

Meet Wesley, a distinguished twelve-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Long Hair from Lafayette, CO, whose laid-back charm and affectionate nature make him the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the company of a cat that knows what he wants. With his long black coat and wise, knowing eyes, Wesley is a gentle yet independent soul who enjoys a mix of quiet companionship and outdoor adventures!

This easygoing gentleman has spent his life mastering the art of relaxation. Whether he’s lounging in a sunny spot, watching birds from the window, or curled up at the foot of the bed, Wesley knows how to make himself right at home. If you’re settling in for a movie, expect him to snuggle up next to you, demanding just the right amount of ear scratches before drifting off into a contented nap.

While he’s generally low-maintenance, Wesley has a playful streak that emerges when the laser pointer or a string toy comes out. And if you ever hear the rustling of a tortilla chip bag, don’t be surprised—this clever cat has been known to attempt a snack heist if given the chance!

Wesley is a friendly host when guests are over and has been wonderful with young children and dogs! However, he prefers to be the only cat in the home, as his interactions with other felines tend to end in a dramatic hissing match. He thrives in a home where he has room to roam, as he enjoys indoor-outdoor living and the occasional solo adventure outside.

While Wesley loves affection, he enjoys it on his terms. He’ll come to you when he’s ready for cuddles and, once satisfied, will politely let you know he’s done with a little swat or nip. He’s neutered, litter-trained, and looking for a pet parent who understands and respects his boundaries, while also giving him plenty of love!

If you’re searching for a laid-back, loving, and independent feline friend, Wesley could be your perfect match. Reach out to learn more about this charming old soul!

He wants cuddles on his terms and when he's done or if he gets over-stimulated he will nip or swat to tell you he's over it.
