Milo

Loving dog in need of a new home. He loves laying in the sun, cuddling up next you on the couch, and sniffing around the yard.

He is fully housebroken and only barks once or twice when someone knocks on the door. He is neutered. He is great on walks but doesn't require them; he has a moderate energy level-- not jumpy or yappy. He is friendly with other dogs and is best buddies with our cat.

We have had him for 9 years, starting as college kids and are now a family with babies. You can tell he has had a rough life before us. He doesn't allow anyone except us to pick him up, and is very territorial over food. He will snarl if you make sudden reaches for his belly or his face. We have too many toddlers around to trust that they'll give him the space and slow actions that he needs to feel safe. It takes him a couple of days to get used to new people but is sweet and loyal after that.

Ideal home would be a home with no young children and access to a yard/outside area.
