Jessie still enjoys running in the yard and playing with her favorite squeaky tennis balls and stuffed animals, but she’s just as happy curling up on the couch for long snuggles. She’s a constant companion, always wanting to be close to her people, making her an ideal match for someone looking for a devoted friend.
Jessie gets along well with smaller dogs and cats, having lived harmoniously with both. She’s also comfortable with older children, but she struggles in a home with very young kids, as she prefers a quieter, less unpredictable environment. This smart girl knows sit and shake and has had formal obedience training. She’s house-trained, microchipped, and spayed, with up-to-date vaccinations. Due to mild arthritis in her back knees (diagnosed at age six), Jessie takes CBD oil daily, which helps keep her comfortable. Despite this, she still runs, plays, and enjoys life without issue. She requires weekly brushing to manage her shedding, but she’s a dream to bathe—she’ll even climb right into the tub on her own!
