Stormy

Meet Stormy, a gentle and affectionate Domestic Short Hair from Portland, MI, whose soft gray and white fur is as beautiful as her personality. True to her name, Stormy’s story began during a fierce thunderstorm, but despite her rough start, she has grown into a loving, cuddly companion who just needs the right home to truly shine!

Stormy is a Velcro kitty when she wants attention—once she trusts you, she’ll stick to you like glue! She adores pets, lap time, and will even "mug" you for affection, making sure you know when it's time for cuddles. She’s also quite the little conversationalist, chirping and meowing to let you know exactly how she’s feeling. When she’s comfortable, her playful side comes out in full force—expect adorable zoomies, enthusiastic pounces on catnip mice, and the occasional chase after a rolling ball or laser light. And when it’s time to wind down, a warm blanket is her happy place.

However, Stormy is not a fan of sharing her space with other animals. Other cats make her incredibly anxious, and in a multi-cat household, she retreats into hiding and struggles with stress-related behaviors. Because of this, she needs to be the only pet in a calm, quiet home where she can fully relax and be herself. She hasn't had much experience with children, so a home without young kids would likely be the best fit.

She’s already spayed, fully vaccinated, and litter-trained, though her anxiety in a multi-cat setting has caused some challenges. In the right environment—one where she’s the center of attention—she’ll thrive as the affectionate and playful kitty she truly is!

If you're looking for a loving, cuddly, and sometimes hilariously zoomie-prone companion, Stormy might just be your perfect match. Reach out to meet her today!
