Violet

Meet Violet, a tender-hearted almost eight-year-old Domestic Shorthair from Grand Rapids, MI, whose quiet charm and affectionate nature make her a truly special companion. Weighing in at a dainty 9 pounds, this gorgeous calico girl is a vision of soft, swirling patches of color—just as unique on the outside as she is on the inside!

Violet may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she’ll become your most devoted confidante. She loves to curl up in bed with her favorite person, happily watching TV or simply soaking in the quiet comfort of a calm evening. And if you’re lucky, she might even grace you with a few sweet conversations—she has a soft, expressive voice and enjoys chatting once she’s comfortable.

Her idea of playtime is delightfully quirky—forget fancy cat toys! Violet prefers the simple joy of batting around a milk ring or a ponytail holder, proving that the best toys are often the unexpected ones. She also has a bit of a refined palate when it comes to treats. While most cats beg for traditional snacks, Violet has a taste for the finer things—flaky croissants, pot pie crusts, and a touch of quiche seem to be her guilty pleasures!

This gentle girl thrives in a peaceful environment where she can be the center of attention. She would do best as the only pet in a home with a patient family who understands her need for both affection and personal space. Loud noises and lots of commotion can make her nervous, so a calm household—without young children or frequent visitors—would help her truly flourish. Violet is spayed, vaccinated, litter-trained, and ready to make her way into your heart!

Though she has lived with other cats before, Violet is much happier when she doesn’t have to share her space. In the right environment, where she feels safe and secure, she’ll reward her new family with endless love, soft purrs, and quiet companionship.

Are you ready to welcome this beautiful, sensitive soul into your home and heart? If so, reach out today and give Violet her next loving environment. Could she be your perfect cuddle buddy?
