Stark

Meet Stark, an affectionate and playful nine-month-old German Shorthaired Pointer from San Diego, CA, whose heart is as big as his energy level! Named after the legendary Stark family from Game of Thrones, this freckled brown-and-white pup is always up for an adventure, whether it’s chasing after a ball, going for a run, or simply snuggling up for a nap after a fun-filled day.

Stark is a social butterfly who gets along great with smaller dogs—his best friend is a French Bulldog! When it comes to bigger dogs, he can be a little nervous at first, but with time and patience, he may warm up. He’s a high-energy pup who thrives on play and attention, making him a great fit for an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm. While he’s still learning commands beyond "sit" and his name, he’s smart and eager to learn, especially with positive reinforcement.

One of Stark’s most endearing quirks? He gets so excited when meeting new people that he sometimes pees a little! Even with that quirk, he is house-trained and has a great way of letting you know when he needs to go outside—either by touching the door, barking, or whining. His routine includes morning, afternoon, and evening potty breaks, plus a final outing before bed.

Despite his bursts of playful energy, Stark is also a champion napper. He loves to snooze, especially after a long walk or play session. He’s perfectly fine when left alone for short periods and will most likely sleep until you return. However, when bath time rolls around, be prepared—blow dryers aren’t his favorite!

Stark is already vaccinated and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where he can run and play freely! He would love for his next family to provide him with structure, training, and lots of love (and maybe a few extra belly rubs). If you're looking for a fun-loving, silly, and loyal pup to add joy and adventure to your life, Stark might just be the perfect match for you!
