Stella

Meet Stella, a tender-hearted seven-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Mediumhair from Tualatin, OR, whose soft gray tabby coat and soulful eyes make her an irresistible cuddle companion. With a purr that can melt away a long day and a serious talent for lap-warming, Stella is the very definition of a snugglebug!

Weighing in at around 8 pounds, Stella may be petite, but she’s packed with love and a touch of sass. She adores being doted on—especially if you’re curled up on the couch or in bed. She’ll climb right into your lap, settle in, and start serenading you with her gentle, happy rumble. Her favorite pastimes include playing with her toys, receiving endless pets, and simply being close to her favorite people.

Stella is spayed, microchipped, litter-trained, and up-to-date on vaccinations. She has always been an indoor cat, though she’s known to sneak out for a supervised backyard adventure now and then—never far, and always back within a couple of hours. Due to her sensitive stomach, she’s currently thriving on a prescription diet (a large bag will be provided to her new family), and despite having some hind leg weakness and tremors that affect her gait, she remains curious, spirited, and playful. The vet hasn’t determined if the cause is neurological or musculoskeletal, but Stella doesn’t let it slow her down or dampen her spirits.

She prefers a peaceful environment and would flourish as the only cat in the home or possibly with another shy or submissive feline companion. Stella would be happiest without small children or overly boisterous dogs—when she’s feeling overwhelmed, she’ll give a gentle warning paw to let you know she needs her space. She’s a gentle soul who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and cherished.

With her gentle demeanor, affectionate nature, and charming quirks, Stella is ready to fill her next loving family's heart and home with warmth and joy!
