New Home for Bonded Dogs
Mona & Teddy are a bonded pair that that have been together for many years and we’d like to keep them together if possible.
We raised sweet Mona since she was 2 months old. She is a 20 lbs beagle, pug, chihuahua, terrier mix. Even though she’s now 8 years old, she still has the energy of a puppy. She loves being active, is extremely smart, loves to cuddle up after a workout, and play fetch. She was raised with our cat and they love playing together. She can be stubborn but will do absolutely anything for a treat and is an intense food scavenger.
Teddy is our 50 lbs German Shepard/Collie mix and was a foster fail who we’ve had since he was 8 months old. While he is younger than Mona, being only 5 years old, he acts like a senior dog. He’s low energy and just wants all of your attention. He will follow you around the house ignoring food and treats and will do anything you ask just for some pets. He pretty much ignores our cat besides the occasional sniff. He came to us from a neglected home and so gets very anxious around new people and environments, particularly sudden movements, but eventually warms up to everyone and thrives with routine. He’s very closely bonded to Mona who very much helped him come out of his shell and is why he became such a loving boy.
Neither Mona or Teddy have any health issues. Mona has short fur that requires minimal grooming. Teddy’s double coat of fur needs regular grooming and his teeth need regular brushing.
