Tule

Meet Tule, a spirited one-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd mix from Penryn, CA, whose boundless energy and quirky personality are as unforgettable as her 360-degree spins of pure excitement! With her striking black and tan coat and compact, athletic frame, Tule is the perfect size for adventure—and adventure is exactly what this girl craves.

Tule is a bright, goofy, and loyal companion who thrives when she has a job to do and space to stretch her legs. Whether she's romping with other dogs, showing off her "sit," "stay," "lay down," and "shake" skills, or just zipping around in wide, joyful circles, Tule is always on the move and full of heart! She’s incredibly food-motivated, making her a great candidate for more training with positive reinforcement. While toys don’t hold much of her attention, praise and play are always welcome rewards.

Though she’s still young, Tule is well-mannered in the home. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, vaccinated, and comfortable being left alone for short periods—usually settling in her crate for a cozy nap. While she may be timid around new faces at first, she warms up quickly with a calm approach and a bit of patience. She does especially well in quiet, relaxed environments and would flourish in a setting with space to run and explore. Apartment life or an indoor-only routine wouldn’t suit her free-spirited nature—this is a dog who needs room to roam and a purpose to fulfill!

She’s friendly with children and absolutely adores other dogs, making her a great fit for an active family or someone with a playful canine companion. Her ideal home will have a fenced yard and a family committed to daily exercise, play, and companionship. Tule is the kind of pup who’ll stick by your side on hikes, match your pace on runs, and then flop down near you, content and connected.

If you're looking for a playful, loyal companion with a touch of silly and a ton of potential, Tule could be the one to join your next adventure!
