Athena

Athena is a 6-month-old puppy, (we believe) an Australian Working Kelpie. With this in mind, she is very hyper and cannot be trained like regular dogs! As a herding breed, she would thrive on a farm or a property with plenty of land. She was abandoned in our neighborhood, and we can no longer keep her because of our lease. She loves dogs and does not react to cats, but we do not know if she likes them. She is very well-behaved and potty trained, but you must keep her focused on the bathroom, or she will get distracted by smells and sounds. Athena loves to cuddle! Her only issue is biting; she is not aggressive or harmful, just very playful! I recommend doing extensive research on the breed before bringing her home, but she would be wonderful with a couple of other dogs and maybe cats. I would say she would do well with a family, but her playful biting might not be suitable until it is addressed.
