Kallie

Meet Kallie: Your Future Best Friend! Sweet, compact love bug

About Kallie:

Kallie is a loving and energetic dog who thrives on companionship and playtime. She is currently being fostered by a trainer, which has helped her grow and flourish in a nurturing environment. Fully potty trained and comfortable in her crate, she adapts well to different living situations and loves to settle down after a fun day of activities.

Personality:

This cuddle bug will melt your heart! Kallie adores snuggling and is always eager for affection. She can be a bit shy with new people but warms up quickly with a little patience and love.

Energy Level & Play:

Kallie is full of life! She loves interactive play, especially fetch—just grab a Chuckit and watch her go! Kallie also enjoys learning new games and commands, and her recall is getting great, as seen in the videos.

Compatibility:

Kallie has strong nanny dog instincts and is fantastic with children. However, she is anxious around kids who require hands-on parenting, so she would be best suited in a home with older children. Kallie also gets along well with other dogs, so she can happily join a multi-pet household!

What Kallie Needs:

Kallie is looking for a loving home where she can receive plenty of attention and playtime. She loves her toys, so safe chewing options are a must. To ensure a smooth transition, I’m happy to continue paying for her pet insurance for a while.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: No very young children. She gets to anxious and I want a happy life for Kallie. I also would like for her to find a family that loves snuggling and cuddling her.

Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Other, Not in List
Rehoming reason details (if necessary): We have a toddler and despite training and her getting comfortable, the energy that a young child has and the hands on parenting required really stress Kallie out. I considered just waiting it out, but Kallie is 2 and my toddler will be like this at least another 5 years. I dont think that Kallie deserves to live half her life being anxious and stressed. She is too good a dog to be kept separate from us and our child and Kallie deserves to be able to live a life free of that young kid stress.
