Black Bear

Meet Black Bear, a playful and spirited four-month-old American Pitbull Terrier from Los Angeles, CA, whose black coat and goofy charm make him the class clown of the puppy pack! Weighing in at 21 pounds now and expected to grow to around 45 pounds like his mom, Black Bear is the perfect mix of silliness and sweetness — always curious, always cuddly, and always up for fun.

This handsome boy has a personality as big as his heart. Whether he’s tumbling around with his siblings or chasing after a chewy bone, his energy is contagious and his antics are guaranteed to bring a smile! He’s the kind of pup who turns everything into a game — even learning. But don’t let his playful side fool you — this little guy has a soft center. His favorite thing in the world? Belly rubs. Give him a gentle scratch and he’ll melt right into your lap, eyes closed, tail thumping.

Black Bear is thriving in a home with his brothers, sisters, and three adult dogs, so he’s already well-socialized and used to being part of a pack. He’s very friendly with other dogs and would do great in a home with playmates, but he’s also confident enough to shine as a solo pup. He’s vaccinated, learning “sit,” making excellent progress with potty training, and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate.

With his medium energy level, Black Bear is just as happy wrestling with doggy pals as he is snuggling on the couch after a long day of exploring. He hasn't had much experience with cats, but his friendly, easygoing nature suggests he could adapt with time and proper introductions.

He’d be best suited for a family who has raised a puppy before and understands the joy (and occasional chaos!) that comes with it. With patience and positive guidance, this little lovebug is ready to grow into a loyal, fun-loving companion!

Could your home use a little extra laughter and a whole lot of belly rubs?
