Brown Bear

Meet Brown Bear, a tender-hearted four-month-old American Pitbull Terrier from Los Angeles, CA, whose velvety chocolate coat and soulful gaze are as comforting as a warm hug! At 20 pounds now and expected to grow to about 45 pounds like his mom, this sweet boy is a little lover through and through — always looking for smooches, snuggles, and someone to curl up beside.

Gentle by nature and mellow at heart, Brown Bear is the kind of pup who quietly slips into your lap and your life, bringing a calm presence wrapped in puppy charm. He’s neutered, vaccinated, doing great with potty training, and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, sticking well to a routine.

Brown Bear currently lives with his siblings and three adult dogs, and he’s proven to be a great little packmate — playful, friendly, and easygoing! He loves playing with other dogs but isn’t overly rowdy. While he enjoys company, he’s also got an independent streak that would help him transition smoothly into life as a cherished only pup.

Though he’s still learning the ropes, he already knows how to “sit” and is eager to learn more with positive reinforcement and loving guidance. He has a medium energy level, meaning he enjoys bursts of play but also welcomes quiet moments — especially if they involve being close to his people. He’s a little on the timid side at times, which only makes his sweet nature more endearing, and he'll blossom in a patient home where love and reassurance are part of the daily routine.

Brown Bear would be happiest with a family who’s had experience with puppies and can give him structure and affection. His heart is full of love — he just needs the right hands to hold it!

Are you the one to share your couch, your kisses, and your world with this chocolate-sweet cuddle buddy?
