Chai Latte

Meet Chai Latte, a tender-hearted one-year-old American Pitbull Terrier from Tuscaloosa, AL, whose creamy white coat sprinkled with warm brown spots is just as sweet as her soul!

Chai’s story begins with uncertainty, but this resilient girl has bloomed into a playful, loving companion despite her rough start. Found wrapped in a blanket and abandoned at a dog park, she’s been through more than any pup should—but she hasn’t let that dim her light! Today, Chai is a gentle, medium-energy girl who adores a good game of fetch with her favorite lacrosse ball and will gladly curl up beside you afterward, grateful for every moment of kindness.

Chai is spayed, up to date on her rabies, DAPPV, and Bordetella vaccines, and ready to settle into a safe, loving home. She’s still learning the ropes of obedience (she knows "sit" when treats are involved!) and would thrive with a caregiver who uses positive reinforcement and can help build her confidence. She's housetrained with a routine, and does just fine being left alone for short periods—just be sure she gets potty breaks before and after.

Chai is a sensitive soul who’s wary of off-leash dogs, likely due to past trauma. She's selective with other pups and may be happiest as the only dog, or possibly with a calm, respectful companion. She’s shown no signs of aggression, and while she's a little timid, her heart is wide open to anyone willing to meet her with gentleness. She's wonderfully affectionate with people, including children, and brings a soothing, empathetic presence to the room.

Though Chai’s past may include some scars, her future is bursting with potential! She needs a calm, compassionate home where patience and love are in steady supply—and in return, she’ll be your most loyal and grateful companion.
