Lola

Meet Lola, a soulful three-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier from Grafton, WI, whose essence is a big-hearted cuddlebug wrapped in a stunning black and white coat.

Lola is a loving, loyal companion with a heart that beats strongest when she’s nestled close to the people she trusts. At around 60 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized snuggle partner who dreams of sunny days chasing soccer balls and curling up for cozy naps. She’s a homebody at heart, happiest when she’s in her familiar space, lounging next to her favorite person and soaking in all the affection you can give.

With formal obedience training under her belt, Lola knows “sit,” “stay,” “lay,” “come,” and “place”—and she takes real comfort in routine. She’s spayed, vaccinated, fully house-trained, crate-trained, and does well when left alone for short periods, peacefully snoozing in her crate. Lola is currently on anxiety medication and benefits from a calm, consistent environment where she can feel safe and secure. Daily exercise, a fenced-in yard, and quiet time with her caregiver are all essential to her well-being.

Lola is not suited for homes with other pets or children. Over the past year, she’s shown reactivity toward animals and new people, and while she’s never bitten a human, she has exhibited aggression toward other dogs. Because of this, she needs a home where she can be the only pet, with a guardian who understands her boundaries and is committed to giving her a structured, low-stress life. She is not a candidate for dog parks or high-traffic walks but would absolutely thrive in a peaceful, private setting where she can enjoy freedom without the pressure of social interactions.

What makes Lola so special is the depth of love she’s ready to give to someone who truly sees her. She is fiercely affectionate, a constant companion who wants nothing more than to be your shadow and your snuggle buddy. For the right person, she will be a deeply rewarding and devoted friend!
