Meet Max, a thoughtful and gentle two-and-a-half-year-old Shepherd from Berkeley, CA. Max is calm and curious, both an outdoor adventurer and ultimate couch companion! He loves being outside but knows that inside time is quiet time and lets out the cutest little grumbles and sighs as he settles in for his naps. Max is friendly with other dogs and people and knows how to respect boundaries. He is also currently attending weekly, private obedience training in order to improve his leash walking and focus. He is house-trained, sleeps through the night, and enjoys spending time in his crate. Max is quite easygoing. He will sleep in as late as you want and can hold his bladder for about 12 hours. However, he prefers to get breakfast right when we get up followed by a walk. He gets fed between 5-6pm in the evening.
