Bear is loyal, energetic, and always ready for an adventure! With his sleek black coat and joyful spirit, he shines brightest when he's playing catch with a stick or ball, exploring the backyard, or hopping into the car for a ride with his favorite people. And when the fun winds down? He’s more than happy to curl up next to you on the couch for a good snuggle session.
Bear has mastered commands like “sit,” “down,” “come,” and “shake,” and he's fully house-trained. He does well when left alone, usually settling into a nap until you're back. While he hasn’t had much interaction with other dogs or children, his new family should be mindful of slow introductions. He’s not a fan of cats and tends to become fixated when they’re around, so a feline-free home will be the best match for him.
This sweet guy does get a little nervous around strangers, but with patience and gentle reassurance, he begins to open up and show his truly loving nature. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has some allergies, but they’re well-managed with the right diet and medication. WIth those small additions, he continues to live a vibrant, happy life! His next loving family will need to maintain that care routine to keep him feeling his best.
