Cuddly boy needs home free of little kids
Comet is a loving boy who does not do well with the unpredictability of our toddler. He has bitten her a few times despite our best efforts to keep them apart. We need to find a home free of young children for him to love his people. He does well with most other dogs when introduced in a neutral environment such as daycare. He does not do well with cats as he is very prey motivated. I think he would most prefer to be an only pet in an older household. He does take a daily liver enzyme medication. He needs to be muzzled at the vet.

Yes, he has nipped our 2 year old when he doesn't want her close, but gives her mixed signals regarding interaction. He solicits her attention much of the time, but occasionally decides it is too much with little or no warning. He is very fearful of the vet and requires muzzling. He can be very reactive in situations where he feels cornered.

He sometimes scratches to be near you if he is left alone while you are in the home, but seems okay home alone.
