One of the four turtles I raised since hatchlings. Daeji is the second oldest of the turtles (by a couple days) and by far the most sociable and friendly. Whenever my friends would come over, I would always take out Daeji and her sister (Tank) and let them play with her. She is very curious and enjoys physical touch such as head pats, chin rubs, and rubbing her shell. She isn't a picky eater and I noticed that she particularly goes crazy over bananas and other sweet fruits. She has never bitten anyone nor got into any conflicts with the other turtles and fish.
I am busy being a full time dental student and I feel bad that I am unable to give the attention nor care I used to provide. I can only hope someone can take her in to better satisfy her needs. Red eared slider
