Meet Suki, a spirited one-year-old Norfolk Terrier mix from Bonita, CA, whose tiny frame (just 14 lbs!) is packed with playful energy and endless cuddles. This little bundle of joy is as agile as they come, darting around the house like a fluffy acrobat, leaping onto sofa chairs or right into your lap without a second thought!
Suki’s heart belongs to toys and sticks—she’s just as happy playing solo as she is sharing a game with a human friend. When she’s not busy showing off her playful side, you can find her snuggled up for some quality lap time. As much as she loves to romp around, Suki is remarkably polite when it comes to noise. She only barks during play or when greeting the occasional visitor but stays as quiet as a mouse on walks or at the dog park.
This clever girl already knows her manners and responds to commands like “sit,” “lay down,” “off,” and “go potty.” Her small size means she needs to go outside every five hours or so, but she’s great at letting you know when nature calls. Suki is house-trained and somewhat crate-trained—she’ll happily nap in her crate but prefers the freedom to explore when left alone, usually finding comfort in a cozy room with her favorite squeak toys.
Suki adores being pampered and will soak up every minute of brushing or bathtime without a fuss. She's already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, plus, she doesn’t mind having her face or paws handled—she’s all about soaking up the affection! Her double coat needs a weekly brush, and she’s a champ during grooming sessions.
When it comes to socializing, Suki loves other dogs her size and has a gentle, timid demeanor around larger pups—she’s more likely to cautiously observe than bark or react. She’s currently living harmoniously with another small dog and gets along wonderfully with kids aged 13 and up. As for cats or younger children, her compatibility is still a bit of a mystery.
Suki’s ideal new home would be patient, understanding, and mindful of her playful nature and her occasional shyness. She’s looking for a caring family who can keep up with her energetic spirit while also embracing her snuggle-loving side.
