Gigi and Georgie

Meet Gigi and Georgie, a devoted duo from Golden, CO, whose shared bond and beautiful spirits shine brighter than the Colorado sun. Gigi is a spunky two-and-a-half-year-old chiweenie, and her goofy partner-in-snuggles Georgie is a one-and-a-half-year-old. These two tiny adventurers may be small in size—Gigi around 10–11 lbs and Georgie a bit heftier at 12–14 lbs—but they carry a whole world of love between them!

Born into a tough beginning, these two came from a home overwhelmed with dogs, where they had to learn how to trust, survive, and eventually thrive. When they were rescued, they were unsure of people and skittish—but what a transformation they’ve made! Gigi, with her rich reddish coat, is energetic and clever, learning quickly how to navigate life with the help of hand signals and a structured daily routine. Georgie, the lighter tan of the two, is the jester of the pair—sweet, silly, and wonderfully gentle.

Though both are deaf, they’ve adapted in the most heartwarming ways. They respond to hand commands and still seem to “hear” some of life’s music—like the jingle of wind chimes or the rustle of other animals. Their daily walks (three times a day, like clockwork!) are their favorite routine, along with some serious dedication to chew bone time.

They are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, house-trained, and microchipped. Gigi has become quite the cuddle bug, while Georgie brings a lovable, clownish energy to every room he enters. They’re both dog-friendly, and while Gigi seems to vibe best with male dogs, she’s been making great strides with her socialization all around.

Gigi and Georgie need a caring guardian who can provide patience, continued structure, and a lot of love—maybe even someone familiar with deaf dogs or excited to learn. Their ideal home would include a fenced yard, regular walks, and a quiet environment with plenty of affection and time together.

Could your home be the next chapter in Gigi and Georgie’s journey—full of joy, playtime, and quiet cuddles? Reach out today to learn more about bringing this remarkable pair into your life!
