I moved to the area almost two years ago and made acquaintance with the neighborhood ferals as soon as they determined I wasn't a threat. Selene's momma was one of them, since being here she has been pregnant twice. I've seen her earlier litter grow, be taken in by neighbors, and some disappear without a trace.
During the last major freeze, I brought her in heavily pregnant afraid she would have the babies during the bad weather. She didn't, she lasted another full 4 weeks before having 5 babies.
Selene was born on March 13th. She is the most affectionate and the first to discover our body heat makes a nice place for a nap. She's a sweet girl- I'd love to see her and her littermate go to the same home if possible but if not perhaps a home with folks invested enough to play with her and give her the home she deserves.
