Sweet boy Oso is 2.5 year old, neutered, Rottweiler that has a very big personality (which is to be expected since he is a Virgo). He is exceptionally goofy and pretty high energy so would really enjoy a running partner and person to forge a solid bond with based on mutual respect and love. He loves a good training session and has a lot of interest in working for you to make you happy with him!
Oso is not the biggest cuddle bug but would prefer instead to just stretch out especially in the sun. He is always up for an adventure and does well meeting new people with the right introductions. His favorite season is spring, he enjoys watermelon and long walks in the neighborhood or local park.
In typical Rotti fashion he is not huge on his personal space being invaded so accepting his boundaries and preferences is important just like in any good relationship. He can also resource guard things like toys and food but is working diligently to learn alternative behaviors. For more information on what Oso's boundaries look like and some of his past problematic behaviors shoot me a message and we can talk about them. Oso is working with a balanced trainer to try and prepare him for his new home and his trainer is more than willing to continue working with him in his foster home or forever home! She is affordable and comes to you so she can insure he is acclimating appropriately and so you feel fully equipped. We are looking for a more experienced handler and for Oso to be your only pet. Oso would also do better in a home with no children.
Oso will bring so much joy and laughter to your home. He'll help you stay active and be your best adventure buddy. Contact me if you're interested in learning more about this sweet boy.
