Maverik is the sweetest boy. He loves to be cuddled and is affectionate with his people. He enjoys the outdoors and exploring new places. He was raised with other dogs and a cat, all of which he gets along with. He plays regularly with interactive toys, such as lick mats and frozen kongs. He is very food motivated and likes to learn new things to earn treats. We utilize a slow feeder for him, as he does eat very fast to prevent any bloat. He is a friendly boy and loves people. He has been raised around children and has never shown any red flags or aggression. He is fully grown and is on the smaller end, last weighing in at 35lbs. We're unsure of his breed, as he was adopted from the shelter, and was listed as a shepherd mix. We suspect he has some of a herding breed mix, as he thrives when there is some structure in his day, but he is also more than happy to have relaxing do nothing days with his people too. He is crate trained since puppyhood and is very comfortable in a crate. His current schedule is being crated for two 4 hour block periods with an hour long play break in the middle during the work week.
