Marlo

This sweet boy is super bouncy and fun at play, and super cuddly in between. He loves fetch, running, and good walks, and also wishes to be a lap dog even though he's 50 lbs.

Marlo is very smart and motivated, and takes to training very well. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, come), well enough that he has done well on off-leash hikes, returning when called after letting him run some zoomies in the woods. I have done several trail runs with him on leash as well, without any issues.

Marlo is very loving and loyal. Unfortunately, he has become so loyal to us that he's now aggressively protective of the humans against our own older dogs in the house. He plays with them happily for hours at a time when we're not around, but we're having to separate him from the other dogs any time we're together. It's not fair to him and it's not sustainable for us, so we want to find him a great new home.

Marlo is a loving companion for a house without other dogs. If you want a dog who will look forward to every activity, and also curl up with you to read in between your outings, he's your boy!
