We are looking to rehome our 3-year-old Akita. She deserves more time and attention than we're currently able to give. Due to my job, she has to be kenneled for most of the day, and it's just not fair to her. She would thrive in a home where she can have more freedom, love, and companionship. She has been around older children (8+) and has done well although my children always respect her space, but I would recommend she be the only dog in the home as she is very prey driven but has been around a male dog.
