Two older black lab/pitbull mix dogs (Maverick and Bear), approximately 7 years old in need of a home, as we are moving and are unable to take them with us. They are litter mates and can’t be separated. They are crate trained and will only sleep in one crate together. Crate and rolling crate box included. We’ll give you the dog bowls, food, and food container with them. Neither are neutered. They are older and will probably be hard to rehome, which is why we are trying to do this sooner rather than later. We worry about no one wanting older dogs. They are great at catching moles and will dig wherever they smell a critter. They get along with other animals, especially cats. These 2 like to run. Please consider them for your home. Thank you.

Details about rehoming reason (if needed):
They are not bad dogs. They will take off running. Honestly, we have kept them this long because they are old and no one wanted them. We are rehoming because we will no longer be able to keep them. Our teens don’t want to have anything to do with them and the husband and I work long hours. I should have rejoined them earlier, to be honest. I hadn’t”t because of their age and lack of training. These dogs truly deserve to be in a home where they are given attention and have space to run and dig-and they deserve better than us. I’ve had them on our local rehoming pages for over a month with no one asking about them, which makes me nervous for them. The shelter and non-profits in our area are full, according to other families we spoken to. Please consider these two old guys for your home. They may run away, but they always return.
