Maisie

Maisie and her friend Pascal were rescued from a Riverside County Kill Shelter on July 6, 2025 - the same day they were scheduled to be euthanized for "SPACE".

Maisie was very emaciated and had a skin condition. She is recovering well from her ordeal and is sweet, gentle, and gets along with everyone. She could easily be trained as a service dog.

Unfortunately, I now have too many rescues (several of whom have been with me more than a decade) and do not have space for her or Pascal. Nonetheless, when you see a good dog going to the gallows for lack of space and you can help - you do it - then figure out rehoming.

They both need good homes with someone who understands that dogs are family - not disposable.

Riverside County Animal Shelters are killing dozens of healthy animals every week for lack of space. https://rcdas.org/list-animals-need-rescue

Maisie is a great girl who needs a great home. She gets along well with the pack - and they are all looking after her - because they've all been there.

Finally, if you adopt Maisie, I promise to save another dog from euthanasia - she'd like that.
