Baby is a rescue foster looking for a loving forever home. She was rescued from euthanasia on New Years Eve 2024, and has been charming her fosters and making new friends wherever she goes. She’s sweet and friendly with people, and especially loves belly rubs, playing with squeaky toys, and romping around with you!
She has very soulful eyes and go-with-the-flow energy at home. Baby is a wonderful work-from-home companion and entertains herself most of the time with Kong treat toys or rests on the couch, but absolutely loves to play catch with her humans (indoors or outside) and go for walks and car rides. She is extremely intelligent and eager to please. She just wants to be loved and cherished as much as she loves and cherishes you!
Baby would be best in a single-pet home or to be adopted with her best friend, Boogie (83 lb male lab/pit mix, neutered, friendly)

Does your pet have any history of health issues or medical conditions that potential adopters should be aware of?:
Allergies - we’re currently working on a food challenge trial. She benefits from cytopoint injections. She has chronic ear infections but our hope is that getting the allergies under control will help with this. She has an old ACL injury in a hind leg that can make her a bit stiff if she does a ton of running around but that doesn’t stop her from romping around or enjoying long walks. She was recently diagnosed with a small mast cell tumor (common for a Pit Bull/Boxer mix) and will require surgery, which we’re fundraising for. Assuming it’s low grade, surgery should be curative.
Has your dog ever shown any challenging behaviors, such as biting a person or another pet? If so, please share some context.:
She’s never bitten anyone to our knowledge but is reactive to other dogs. She barks and lunges, so we keep her away.
