Subject: Request for Help Rehoming My Cat, Salem

Hi there,

My name is Tia, and I’m reaching out because I need help rehoming my 9–10 month old cat, Salem. She was given to me by a friend who could no longer keep her, and as far as I know, she has never been vaccinated or spayed.

I’m currently pregnant and preparing for the birth of my baby, and unfortunately, I’m struggling to give Salem the proper care she deserves. I’ve done my best, but between limited space, financial constraints, and upcoming responsibilities, I can no longer provide a safe or healthy environment for her.

She has some behavioral issues that I believe could be helped with medical care and a more stable routine. I’ve contacted a few rescues and shelters, but I haven’t received any responses. I’m reaching out to ask:
• Do you have any space available, or could you assist with rehoming her?
• Can you direct me to any foster-based programs, partnerships, or rehoming resources in the area?

Salem is sweet but needs a patient home with someone who can help her thrive. I care about her deeply, which is why this decision has been so difficult. I just want to make sure she’s safe, healthy, and loved — even if it’s not with me.

Thank you for your time and any help you can provide.

Sincerely,
Tia
